Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 (24 oz.) jar Francesco Rinaldi Mushroom Pasta Sauce
- 3 oz prosciutto chopped
- 3/4 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary crushed
- 8 oz rotelle pasta uncooked
- Combine ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet; cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well. Add pasta sauce, prosciutto, wine, pepper, basil and rosemary. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook uncovered 20 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- While meat sauce is cooking, boil pasta according to package directions; drain well.
- Serve ground beef over pasta.
