1. How long can I keep an opened jar of Francesco Rinaldi in my refrigerator?
In regards to the length of time it can be kept after opening under proper refrigeration - we recommend that for the best quality you use an opened jar within 5 days. It is worth noting however, that this length of time can vary quite a bit based on a variety of factors including the temperature of your refrigerator and how long it sits out while being used.

3. Are Francesco Rinaldi Sauces certified Kosher?
Both our 24 oz Tomato Basil and 24 oz Marinara Sauces are Kosher certified. Any sauce that is Kosher certified will carry the certification symbol on the label.

4. How do I determine the expiration date or where can I locate the expiration date?
For the best quality, we code most of our sauces with a use by date two years from the day we produce it. This date can be found printed on the shoulder of the jar printed in a black or white ink. The exceptions are our Francesco Alfredo Sauces which has a use by date eighteen (18) months from the day we produce it. Also our 45 oz. jar has a use by date one year from the day we produce it.

5. Can I freeze any leftover sauce?
You may freeze unused portions of most of our Francesco Rinaldi sauces in a freezer safe container for up to 3 months. Our Alfredo Sauces and Vodka Sauce can not be frozen. We recommend storing the unused portion and placing it in a container that is sealed tightly. This will reduce the amount of air that is in contact with the product. It is worth noting however, that this length of time can vary quite a bit based on a variety of factors including the temperature of your freezer, how long it sits out while being used and the proper storage of the unused sauce.

6. My local stores do not sell Francesco Rinaldi products. How and where can I purchase them?
We encourage our consumers to ask their local grocery store manager to place a special order. Some stores are willing and able to do so. You can visit us at www.francescorinaldi.com and purchase our sauces on-line. However at the present time, we do not export our products to Canada.
